Job Posting: Senior Interior Designer
Location: Nashville, TN
Job Type: Full-Time (Average 45 Hours/Week)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer to lead the interior design of our projects from concept through completion. You will own design development, materials, space planning, and furniture specification, and you will be the design point of contact for the clients and consultants on your projects. You will also guide and develop the junior designers on your teams. Your standard sets the tone for the firm's interior work. This is a senior seat with a clear path toward a Director of Interiors role.

Responsibilities:
Lead the interior design deliverables on your projects, from schematic design through construction administration.
Own material and finish selection, space planning, and furniture specification for the interior scope.
Coordinate the consultants and vendors on your projects and keep them informed, moving, and on schedule.
Serve as the primary design contact for your clients, presenting solutions and working their feedback into the design.
Deliver polished first versions that are reviewed and proofread before they reach a client or the principal.
Mentor junior designers by delegating work that grows them.
Keep your project documentation and time tracking current.
Qualifications:
Desired Years of Experience: 5–6+ years
Required:
Degree in Interior Design.
Progressive professional experience leading interior design projects.
Strong FF&E, finish selection, and construction documentation experience.
Proficiency in Revit.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and rendering/visualization software.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred:
NCIDQ certification or progress toward registration
Experience with government, institutional, or other code-driven projects.
Experience coordinating consultants and leading client meetings.

We are looking for a mid-career architect or architectural designer to anchor production across our projects. This role is ideal for a newly licensed architect or someone progressing toward licensure with roughly five to ten years of experience. You will lead construction documentation, coordinate consultants, and provide technical leadership while collaborating across architecture and interiors.
